Corrections

We work to get every number right, and we correct mistakes openly when we make them.

How we correct errors

When we confirm an error in a filing report, we:

  1. fix the value on the page and in our dataset,
  2. add a "Corrected" entry with a one-line explanation to the report's timeline,
  3. change the report's "Updated" date, and
  4. list the correction on this page.

We never change a published number without recording it. Updates that come from new events, such as a regulator approving a pending request, are shown on each report's timeline rather than listed here, because they are not errors.

Report an error

Email zakarian@ratefiled.com with the page address, the value you believe is wrong, and the document that shows the correct value if you have it. See the contact page for details.
